The experiment is an attempt to familiarize and make friends with a remote-controlled rover vehicle with rural animals. For this purpose, the robot tried to communicate with the animals, imitating their behavior, playing their previously recorded sounds, and even trying to feed them. Technology is comfortable and fascinating, but it often awakens the fear of the unknown. The current technological development is beginning to outpace the natural human adaptability. We stop understanding the mechanisms and rules of the objects that surround us. An uninterrupted string of changes and news often provokes a sense of confusion. “IHAU” is a film about entering of the new, and balancing between technological advantages and fears and uncertainty. The sheep and a mechanized robot are divided by a technological abyss. Soon we can face similar reality.
