A personal triptych. On the left side of the installation, the true “confession” of the artist is presented, on the right side – its “false” variant. In the middle, there is a neutral version screened, connecting the other two. All the projections are of equal length and are looped.
An essential part of the installation is the sound. Each video has a separate audio track that sometimes mingle at a central point between projections, and sometimes mix, making it difficult to decipher.
Each projection is also accompanied by the subtitles, whose function is to extract the literary layer of the installation.
Tymek Bryndal (PL), born in 1992 in Toronto, Canada. Artist and musician based in Warsaw, Poland. In his work he uses a wide variety of media – from photography through video to graphic design. The characteristic element of his art is dispassionate observation combined with wit and cynicism.
