The installation consists of a labyrinth-shaped interactive “controller” and eight animations run by a plastic soldier moving within the maze. Each animation takes place in the suggestive scenery designed by the artist, and reveals the states of uncertainty, anxiety, and confusion in a metaphorical and expressive manner. All made in black and white, bring the Expressionist films of the 1920s into mind.
